Welcome to the homepage of Essonville Historic Church, located on Haliburton County Road 4 in Essonville, Ontario, Canada, about 15 minutes east of the town of Haliburton.
Essonville Historic Church was established in 1888 as the centre of this rural community and has been restored and continuously maintained thanks to generous donations of time and finances from today's community.
OPEN HOUSE/decoration day
Essonville Historic Church Open House & Decoration Day is typically held on the 3rd weekend of August at the church. Dates for 2026 will be announced soon.

EVENTS AT THE CHURCH
The church can be rented for weddings, baptisms, dedications, and vow renewals. The rental fee is waived for funerals. Please contact us for more information on how to book the church.
